Camp Wildfolk – WeHo is a day camp designed around creative play, outdoor exploration, and meaningful social connection. The atmosphere is intentionally calm and inclusive, helping campers feel safe to express themselves while engaging with peers. Days follow a gentle rhythm that balances structure with flexibility, keeping children engaged without feeling rushed.
The program emphasizes imagination, collaboration, and child-led discovery. Campers participate in a mix of group activities, creative projects, and open-ended play that encourages problem-solving and teamwork. Rather than focusing on competition or performance, the camp prioritizes cooperation, empathy, and joyful participation.
What makes this program stand out is its commitment to simplicity and connection. Campers are given space to slow down, explore ideas deeply, and form real friendships. Activities are designed to support emotional growth and creativity, helping children build confidence and independence.
Camp Wildfolk – WeHo is especially well-suited for elementary-age children who enjoy imaginative play, being outdoors, and working together in small groups. It’s a strong fit for families seeking a day camp that values creativity, kindness, and community.

Camp Wildfolk – WeHo operates as a day camp, and campers return home at the end of each day. Overnight accommodations are not part of the program.
Camp Wildfolk does not include daily meals as part of the standard camp program. Families are expected to pack their own lunches, following the food guidelines of the host facility.
The camp takes food safety and community guidelines seriously. Meat and shellfish are not permitted to be brought from home. However, families may pack dairy-based foods, eggs, tofu, and scaled fish such as tuna or salmon. These rules help ensure consistency with the facility’s policies while still offering flexibility for a variety of diets.
For families who prefer a prepared option, optional kosher lunches are available for purchase. These lunches are ordered through Camp Wildfolk and provided by Andres Kosher Lunches. Some of these optional meals may include kosher meat, which is otherwise not allowed in food brought from home.
Families should plan meals carefully and communicate any dietary needs in advance. Snacks and personal water bottles are typically brought from home.
The activities program focuses on creative exploration, group connection, and outdoor play. Campers rotate through a variety of experiences that encourage imagination, movement, and collaboration. Activities are age-appropriate and flexible, allowing children to engage at their own pace.
Outdoor time plays a central role, giving campers opportunities to explore, move freely, and connect with their surroundings. Creative activities support self-expression through art, storytelling, and imaginative play. Group games and shared challenges help strengthen social skills and teamwork.
